Took during the day and decided to make it a night shot. I have it lit at night with a different lamp, changed it and the background added the Light beam.

I really like this one. The only thing is that the light from the window is shinning on the back of the subject and the front is lite up. Maybe you should skip the light beam.....Rich

Your thoughts are interesting on the lighting. Actually the planter is lit up with a lamp in the same position and it does light up the front. It drapes to the front. I changed the fixture and when I did I see it doesn't look as though it is over the front. Well this was just a fun edit and not intended to make a print out of it. I keep trying to get my edits more realistic. I do appreciate your thoughts, thank you.

It's a good subject for a fun experiment. My suggestion would be to take the colour of the lantern windows and add a touch of that colour to whatever the lantern light lands on. It looks like you're getting white light from an orange light source, which to my mind takes away from the realism.

I appreciate your choice, but there is a doubt in my mind, the shade could have been a bit dense to make a real night. What do you think?
