I have been to this area of Tennessee and you are correct. Those are excellent shots of the falls and by the way, you saw more than I did.

Thanks!

Nice photos, Michigan has some nice falls as well. I like showing just a little motion in the falls instead of making them look like cotton candy, we are pretty much at the mercy of how much light is available and the direction light comes from. Keep up the good work.

Yes, shooting at mid-day is a challenge but we can't be there at exactly the right time every time. I too am not a fan of too long an exposure when shooting waterfalls but do like some smoothness in the water. Thanks for the nice comment.

Thanks for the suggestion but when I mentioned it to my wife, her being a researcher and computer literate, she quickly dismissed the idea but thanks anyway. Thanks for the good words.

Too bad! Good book!

Went on a little jaunt up into the mountains of N. Carolina and hunted some waterfalls. They are widespread and some are very hard to find. Spent five days searching with google maps and only touched the surface. I am thoroughly convinced one could spend a long, long time on a quest for waterfalls in N. Carolina. Hope you enjoy the scenery. More to come

nice shots...I love the sound of waterfalls.

Yea, that's what I was thinking. I may get one anyway just for insurance.

Thanks and I agree. I could sleep like a baby with that sound.

Beautiful! What neat trip. I’ve been on the Roaring Fork Loop Road a few times but never saw the falls you photographed, unless I was never there when the water was really flowing.
Thanks for sharing.

You got some really good shots. Looking Glass is about 20 minutes from my home. I suggest you take cameraf4's suggestion and get the book. There are over 250 waterfalls here in Transylvania Co. I posted a shot of Looking Glass in January when it was frozen.
