I took this picture several years ago. It is of Chicago's waterfront. It was probably taken from the aquarium but I'm not sure anymore. Anyway, I was posting it on one of the threads and I noticed something high in the sky above the tallest building in the center. I zoomed in and I don't see any wings but O'hare and Marshal airports aren't far away. My wife says it is a plane but I don't see the wings. Thoughts?
above the center building just under the clouds
Definately a UFO! If I was to hazard a guess-a helicopter?

I've blown it up and tried everything to get a better look and I just don't know
They're coming to take us away!

If that's the case, dang..I missed my chance.
The only thing I can think of that comes close to the general appearance of that object is one of these:

Could it be one of those advertisement blimps? Not the big Goodyear one but one of the smaller ones.

It probably is a plane. The angle you see it and the distance from it are distorting. What you see are the wings going slightly away from you the body blends into them. Or it is a UFO.
I don't think it was a blimp. I think I would have remembered that. A helicopter is a possibility. I don't know about a plane. You'd think you'd see some kind of a wing or tail. I just don't know.

look up in the sky, It's a bird,It's a plane, No its SUPERMAN!!!!!
It's a CH46 UFO, no doubt.
Probably, it's just difficult to tell. I ran it through every filter on Picmonkey and some made it more clear. There were still no distinquishing characteristics other than it looks like the two ends were bigger than the middle part which makes me think you are right but it is just too far away to know for sure.

That would be the Standard Oil building in the middle. Besides, O'hare and Midway(not Marshall), there is Meig's field (closed since 2003 thanks to Mayor Dufus) right there on the lakefront not too far away. But what you have there is a horsefly buzzing around. Anyway, that is what the government will tell you.
Nice pic for a cloudy day.
Thanks for the coorrection on Midway. Marshall? I saw too many Oprah's. Thanks for all who chimed in.
