Hi -

Anyone have any idea why the Nikon MH-26A battery charger appears to be on terminal back order? I ordered one as part of the MB-D18 Multi Battery Power Kit back on April 9th when I ordered my D850. I got the D850 in a little over a month along with the second MB-18 battery and some of the other things that I ordered. I called B&H this week to check and was told that they do not know when they would be getting the chargers in.

You can find the charger on EBay, then look for the "conversion plate" for the en-el18 battery.

Thanks rfmaude41. I haven't heard good things about the non branded battery chargers. They don't seem to charge batteries to 100%. I'm wondering if Nikon is discontinuing the MH-26A charger and replacing it with a newer version.

What camera is the EN-EL18 for?

The Big Boys: D5, D4, D4s, etc. With battery grip, D810, D850, D500 and I would guess a few others. Battery is also EN-EL18A and EN-EL18B.

I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to my post and bring you all up to date. I called B&H on Monday morning and asked to speak to Herschel as someone in another thread had suggested. Got a bit of a runaround as it appears that there are two Herschels that work for B&H. I finally got a Customer Service rep that was very helpful. Unfortunately, I didn't catch his name. He listened to my problem and then asked if it was alright if he put me on hold for a few minutes. He came back on the line about 5 minutes later and told me that Herschel was tied up at the moment but that Herschel had told him that the MH-26A chargers were due in next week and I should expect to receive the remainder of my order by June 29th. Last Wednesday I checked my order status and the MH-26A was showing as in stock and would be shipping on Thursday. With B&H's one day shipping I received it on 6/22. Once again B&H exceeded my expectations.
