A little waterfall in the Oregon Rainforest
I much prefer #1 for the inclusion of surroundings and vertical aspect. I rarely like milky waterfalls, but the extreme softness of this one, along with the glowing light (seemingly from within) and lush greenery, is quite magical!
The falls are very nice. Its just my opinion that #1 includes too much foreground, and works better in 4x5 from the top. Conversely, I think #2 would be better with additional foreground. I know you didn't ask for opinions.
Beautiful set, Rusty and you guys are a long ways from home!
Beautiful. Love your choice of shutter speed.

My thoughts run with an above poster, I believe fergmark was his name. Just a bit off the foreground would be nice. My first thought was, "Wow, how beautiful"! Such lushness.

It's interesting to read what others have said about cropping the foreground in the first. Frankly, I like the way you've composed it. I find the foreground quite interesting. To me the story is about the water in the area adding to the lush landscape, and the waterfall accents that rather than being the main subject. Just my opinion.
Very nice work! As usual, I side with Linda.
Really nice and quite tranquil.
Both beautiful shots, but I like #1 more
