If they can do it I like that but I don’t think the customers are that stupid.

The search for the lowest price often leads to a bad ie. stupid choice.

The design of modern digital cameras.

All the new fangled buttons on DSLRs that screw up what would be a show stopping photo. IMO.

And you don't have a good camera? I actually would be flattered if someone said that to me.

My answer to that: yes I do and I taught it everything it knows.

I realize these things mentioned are ancillary to photography, but then so are batteries.

I think these things are great because it allows more people with minimum experience to take nice photos and create memories that they cherish and can be proud of without getting bogged down in all the technical techniques. It's a throwback to instamatic cameras, only better. I personally enjoy all the technical "stuff" associated with producing nice photographs, but I am glad so many more people can get pleasing results and just concentrate on their kids, dogs, or whatever else they are photographing.

Lack of time to stop and shoot the roses in my everyday life, and to do the darkroom work I need to do on the images that are worth working on.

Andy, take time to shoot the roses and smell them too. That is what life is all about.

Wish I could a little more often. I love my work, but it does consume a lot of time. I try to stop and shoot as often as possible, but my life is still scheduled a little too tightly.

I've learned a lot from the experts here at UHH self-proclaimed or not. I've also learned what I don't like about some newbies. Newbies who are instant art critics of everyone else without any personal portfolio to back up their opinions. The newbie who comes to learn is refreshing.

I dislike the fact that UHH imposes a 20Mb limit on posts. (That assumes, of course, that the bandwidth/download limit imposed on images would be similarly imposed on a worded post, and I don't know whether that's true, is an urban legend, or is instead some undigested bit of yesterday's dinner that's talking to me.) Why, you may ask, do I dislike that 20Mb limit? Answer's easy: there's so many things that --if I took the time to think about them and write them all down-- I dislike that to list them all would prob'ly run up into stratospheric terabyte territory before I got to the stuff that really gets my goat, and that I abhor with the heat of a thousand suns. What's the word for a million terabytes? Galactobyets or something? That's a lot of dislike hatred. With an exclamation mark!

And after writing all that down, what I'd REALLY "dislike" is if some oh-so-brilliant Hogified responder replied with a sneering, snarky, completely witless comeback of the likes 'yeah, but tell us how you REALLY feel.' The results of something like that would be Front Page Of The New York Times epic. We're talking rip their throat out with my filed down teeth epic.

The good news is that I don't think about that dislikey stuff all that much. Or --after I've taken my blue pill and my three little red pills firstest thing in the morning-- ever at all, really. I like ptofeggery. It's calming.

How many bytes have I used up here??? Techies??? Anybody??????????
I dislike the fact that UHH imposes a 20Mb limit o... (show quote)
