Adam you prove the camera is just a tool. You are an artist with your creation and post processing
I did some pixel-peeping, which I normally don't do. You have wonderful depth of field here, which is surprising if that f-stop quoted is correct. The flower is still fresh enough to have that shimmery texture to some of its petals. That's really nice. You have nice separation between the flower and its cactus. I think I might crop it to square, perhaps. I tried a virtual crop right at the line where the spines go the other way. It's nice as is, though. I do like the choice of B&W, however, these are lovely in colour. I hope you shot in raw so that you have both. I really like how the light seems to come from within.

I didn't shoot in raw, I think my phone does have that setting, I just always forget about it. I do have both color, and black and white, I just prefer B&W.
Thank you!
Excellent detail. I like the b/w presentation.
Wow! I love it! There is a party going on in there and you captured it. I love that it's at a hardware store ...pssst ... I won't tell anyone if you don't.

Thank you Nightski! I was wondering where you were! I went back and add some space on the sides it was a little crowded

Nevermind
Actually I would just leave the cactus out and let the petals blur. Blur with line and shape, but blurred. It's all about that party in my opinion. I've pulled out my extenders this summer and slapped them on my Velvet 56. I just have some cheap extenders, so they don't talk to the camera, but they work pretty good. I'll post a flower when I get time so you can see what you think of the quality. The extender really helps you fill the frame with only what you want.
