I recently visited my grandchildren's elementary school, I was very impressed with a piece of art I noticed hung just outside of the library. These wall hangings were made by the children and the staff for the library, each one represents a children's book. The really neat thing that I found out is that they are totally made up of milk caps, bottle caps, caps of all sorts! The children spent quite some time collecting them, once collected the ones that needed color were dyed and dried. Once they were all ready they were placed on the boards to create the designs you see here.
Impressive !!....our Young are the Future...that is Good Work there :-)

Rena, the story along with the photos deserves a big WOW. Teaching this art form and having the children read more is an excellent way to have children do both.

Oh I so agree with you CLF, from what I hear (my daughter works at the school) the children enjoyed the activity and were very proud of the result.
