This dragonfly returns continually to this same spot. Or perhaps it's several different insects, I'm not sure how long they live.

Most of them return continually to this same spot. It is just something they do. Knowing this will help you to set up to capture them since you know ahead of time where they will land.

Good capture. I've learned this in my very limited shooting of dragons. They like the same spot for a time. It helps use photo bugs set up. Nice detail kp, especially on the eyes where it matters. vz

Ken, Doc turned me on to this fact about most dragons. They return to the same perch if it has been productive in the past.
