Anyone used the Wasabi battery specifically in a D3400?
Charge OK in OEM charger?
Work well and hold charge comparable to high dollar OEM EN-EL14a battery?

My Wasabi battery for my D7000 and D7100 will last about 1/2 to 3/4s the time of the original battery. I mainly relegate it to backup needs.
The Wasabi charges fine in the original Nikon charger.

Thanks. Backup is all I desire for it.

I have used Wasabi batteries as backups for several Nikon bodies as well as two Fuji bodies. They charge in all chargers and none have exhibited any problems. I trust them for paid jobs and personal project just the same. For some reason, I still make sure I have at least one of my Original Manufacturer batteries on hand, too. But I never have had cause for that particular caution.

I also use non-OEM batteries for my power tools. Maybe I'm stupid, but I have saved a lot of money over the years using non-oem batteries and haven't had cause to regret it, so far.

I have Wasabi batteries in a D3100, a D7100 and in a Canon PowerShot SX50. They work very well and I have found them to work and last pretty much just as good as the OEM batteries that came with my cameras.

I use Wasabi batteries in my Canon 7DII, 5DIII and T5i. Find them to work as well as OEM batteries. Been using them for years with no issues. The savings is well worth it.

I have used the Wasabi batteries in the past and have had no complaints. If you have any concerns why not relate them to a backup status?

I actually have had zero issues with any of my non OEM batteries. They do deteriorate with age, or at least seem to, in my experience, but the two oldest I have are Nikon OEM and the more recent off-brand units seem to perform better.

My general advice is to buy a boatload of extra batteries, rotate them regularly (I use little post-it flags to set the rotation), and replace when they don't seem to last long enough.
