Often I travel around the U.S. and Canada for weeks at a time, stopping at friends or family homes when in their area. They usually ask me to see some of the pictures I have taken. Rather than crowding around my camera (canon Rebel T3i,EOS 600D) what would be the best way to show every one the pictures. From the question you can tell I am a beginner.

Tablet or laptop. If they have a smart TV, you could burn the photos to a thumb drive and show them on the TV

We normally download onto an iPad for better viewing while still traveling.

Your camera has a HDMI and a USB out. The simplest way would be to get a 10’ or 15’ HDMI cable (Mini male to standard male or standard male to male with a mini adapter) and just plug into a flat screen. You might have to change the setting in the camera for duration of the screen display. Refer to your manual, but you could also do this with the USB out to most flat screens that have a USB in.

A lightweight thin laptop such as a MacBook Air or an iPad would work well. Also with an HDMI adapter, you could project them on a flatscreen TV from your device.

If you took jpeg plus raw, you could put the card into a usb reader and connect to a smart tv. Or tv made have a card reader.

Get a digital picture frame. Put the photos on an SD card and let the frame do a slide show. Frames come in various and a lot cheaper than a laptop or IMac.

Lots of people are use to see photos on their cellphone too. I have a big memory chip in my cellphone just so people can see where we have been and what we have seen. Not as nice or ideal as the larger screen options, but it is always at hand for viewing.

iPad is the best, simplest and easiest solution and it's a computer as well.

Cord your camera to a TV, and impress your friends. We did this every night at a friends house for our trip out west. Works great.

I believe your camera came with a cord that hooks directly to the TV. Just hook it up right there on the spot and show them.
Mine does this and most TVs now have the correct connection.

You might also get lucky and have a TV with an SD card slot; one of mine does. Otherwise, I have an HDMI cable. You can also use a Chromecast "dongle" and do it wireless.

You can hook the camera to any TV, that may be one way, also to lot of people its not so much fun to look at pictures on a TV.
