The first two are pretty standard, approx 5 shots (vertical to give horizontal image and versa vice) hand held and stitched in LR. The third, well whoa horsey, I figured I'd give LR a good work out and didn't expect much shooting a 6x6 hand held multi row pano, top to bottom, bottom to top and repeat. I threw all 36 photos into the LR pano bucket and waited. Lo and behold, it came out just fine. I did have to choose the perspective orientation as the other two couldn't process. I hope you like them;
1-Taughannock Falls
2-Fish Kill Creek Cascades
3-Lucifer Falls 6x6
My apologies, the originals were pre-processed from RAW for another presentation and then those JPG's were resized up for UHH so there is some pixelation so don't look tooo hard.
What no pictures of wine bottles.:)
Water Fall shots are always a favorite. Well done panos, especially the middle vertical pano.
Your panos look great. I only recently started dabbling with panos myself and have only done handheld ones which seems to work fine as yours did. It's interesting to me that I see a lot of people think you need a tripod with a panning head to get the exact right horizontal/vertical movement and exact right location of the lens, as if a few inches is going to mess up a landscape shot stitched together in LR. I'm interested to know what you pano people think about that, my first time in the pano section. Love Taughannock Falls, went to Cornell, been there many times.
