My first attempt at a BIF shoot. Pretty pleased w the way it turned out but I still have a long way to go!

Anyone can ID this Egret...
Black legs = great egret?

AF F/2.8D 80-200 @200mm F/5

Black legs and feet-orange/yellow bill = Great Egret. If the feet were yellow and the bill black or mixed it would be a Snowy.

I agree. Plus the Snowy is about 12 inches smaller.
Keep up shooting those birds.

These guys are bigger than I thought then ;-)
They don't seem so big when they are 300 feet away!
