I'm another Canon 18-135 fan. Has served me well for many situations: Landscapes, portraits, and everything in between.

I used my Sigma 10-20 on my D7000 for the Utah parks. Very happy with it. Consider how you're going to view your photos. I use Pro Show to make animated videos with music plus pan and zoom effects. Having a wide composition works well for this. You can zoom in for more detailed compositions as needed.

I'd bet on the Canon 24-105. Great lens!

I, also, have the Canon 80D and my walk around lens is the Tamron 18-400. Equivalent to about 28mm-640mm on a crop sensor camera.

I have an 80D and currently only two lenses for it. The Tamron 18-400mm and recently acquired Canon 24-70mm L. The Tamron is a great walk around lens if you have a need to zoom in to 400mm frequently. After I have more experience with the Canon 24-70mm L (which is my first L lens) I have a feeling it may become my favorite walk around.

I have to say that my son has and loves the Canon 18-135, I'm not too happy with it, good lens, but not good handling in my mind, the length makes it feel awkward indoors to me, also the lens is slower than I like, granted it is lighter than my 17-70 Sigma though.

I use the Canon 18-200 ... a great lens when you don't know what you'll be shooting. I travel a lot and I don't like to lug around a lot of equipment all day. It allows for wide angle and the occasional zoom.

Canon makes a 18-200 lens that is really good for crop sensor bodies like the 80D. I have a friend that uses on for street photography and she gets fantastic results. Me, I use a 16-35 then switch to a 24-70 and then from that to a 70-200. It's a lot of switching of lenses, but they are all fast L series lenses that have the highest quality zooms available by Canon. But the EF-s 18-200mm is very convenient to use for those that don't want to fiddle with changing lenses all the time. It's about $700 at B&H or $560 refurbished at Canon.

I use the Tamron 16-300 and am happy enough with it that I’ll continue to use it. Yes I use it on an 80D.

You didn't mention what lens or lenses you currently have/use on the 80d.

What type parks will you be visiting? City parks, State parks? Anticipate shooting landscape, flora and fauna, statues, wildlife? Maybe what you already have will work just fine for you.
I find my 18-135 IS USM on my 80d is fine in most "scenic" instances.

I had the 18-135, but I wanted a longer reach. Again, I now use the Sigma 18-300, it being lighter (and less expensive) than the Tammy 18-400 and long enough for most of my needs. When I need really long, I go to my SX50 HS!

Also have the Canon 80D. I use to use a Canon 18-200mm, but have now gone to the Tamron 18-400mm. Same wide angle, but twice the telephoto. Am very pleased with it...and not too heavy.

My experience with real wide range lenses, like my Tamron 28-300, is that they are jack of all trades and master of none. Plus they are inevitably heavy, or at least heavier than I would like. But when things are moving fast and you can't always be changing lenses, they are hard to beat. I also have a light walk around, a Sigma 28-80. But when I have specific things in mind, I go with my Canon trinity, the 10-18, 18-55, and 55-250. I would go nuts if I only had one lens on hand. That is a guarentee that a beautiful shot would hit you between the eyes, perfect for the lens you don't have with you !!

I use a Tamron16-300. It’s a great walk around lens. From wide 16mm to telephoto 300mm it covers most photo opportunities you will encounter

I also use a Sigma 18-300 with my 77D (very similar to the 80D) and am happy with the results.
