I had never heard of it until two weeks ago. I was at the nursery for tall pots to make bird baths, cherry tomato plants and lantana. Ended up with a few pots, terra cotta saucers, tomato plants, lantana, strawberry plants, a few other flowers and two pots of these. The two I picked up looked like purple snow balls they had so many blooms. And each pot had at least 5 or 6 bees, one bee stayed on the flowers until the pot was in the back of my SUV before he gave up and flew away.
I'd love to see the flowers at their peak. They must be beautiful.
