It looks to me as if it was windy and all shots were not lined up with each other, this seems to have a lot of motion blur in it, just my opinion, the only way I can get a good HDR outdoors is with a tripod and not wind, and that is hard around my area were we have wind almost all the time.

Thanks Sarge, an excelent example. I'm glad things are starting off well here, keep on posting. Leaf motion is hard to avoid, but things will get better.

Hi Sarge,
Not a bad attempt but instead of bracketing your photos by aperture you want to bracket by exposure. Keep the same aperture in all your images; the lower the f stop (higher number) the better so that your entire scene is in focus. Try under exposing anywhere from -1 to -2 stops, a normal exposure (0) and +1 to +2 stops. The goal is to bring out the details of the image when there is a lot of contrast.

mmmmm....I actually like the non HDR better on this one. I seem to get better results from using a single exposure and PP copies of the origional. It doesn't have the "pop" that bracketed shots have, but for me anyway, it helps with the movements encountered in the wind. Just a thought. We have to keep trying until we get it the way WE want it.
