I would crop out the distracting items in each photo.
#3 - the little bit of the road in the corner, it doesn't add anything to your photo.
#2 - the bottom part of the photo, the lights and signage they can go.
#1 - the parking lot lights, no need for them.

How about a nice balance between the Simons and the Paulas? I think you can tell them what you really think, but be nice about it. Also have to remember we all come from different levels. Beginners need encouragement as well as telling them what needs to change, I think... But then, I'm a woman.

I love this!!! You've got Simon's and Paula's. Simons will tell you streight up exactly what they think of your photo and usually for the most part their absolutely right. Paula's on the other hand will want to sugar coat their comments and if someone (Simon) is being in their eyes "mean" then Paula will even give you a compliment although you don't deserve it. You have to ask yourself "do I really want to know the truth or do I just want someone to make me feel good"? You have to realise that Simon will tell you what you NEED to know even if he isn't very nice about it. I'm going to have to take the side of Simon and say these are streight out snap shots of the sky. You need to learn a little bit about composition. Especially when dealing with pictures of the sky.

Yea, I guess I can agree with that to some extent. But you have to agree that there's a lot of Paula's and Simon's not only on here but on any photo site that is there to critique your pictures and you have to lean to either roll with the punches or quit.

Love the first shot. can you photoshop the lightpole out?
I haven't quite finished my photoshop training yet so I have no clue how to take it off :/ I'm gonna take it off once I figure it out
Artistic style is about individuality. A little tweeking and cropping....I like the tree and lamp in the first one - shows perspective. The second one is okay - we take several to get the "one". The third on the tilt - is great!
All things are possible with photoshop :)
Tilted shots are for people who feel like taking tilted shots. It is not wrong just because some book, or website, or some teacher tells you it is. If you like it then it is right, and that is all that matters. Art in not for mindless drones going around following a set standard of rules, art is emotion, it is different to each of us, so saying that tilting the camera is not the way to do it, I'm guessing is just you saying that that isn't the way you would do it.
Great art, keep pushing that button.
