I would like to downsize my GAS. I have several quality lens for my Olympus OMD 1 camera and a little used Nikon D 800e, replaced with a D 850. I use only the D 850, a Sony RX 10-111 and a sony Rx 1000. I plan to offer the olympus OMD- 1 with lens as a unit and the D 800e (without lens). I plan to get the retail price of the from a KEH listing and offer them about 25% less on Ugly hedgehog. Not sure how the actual exchange of money for camera goes. Who sends which first after agreement on price. Does the seller or me send first or how is it done. thanks

It’s done through PayPal and you ship *after* you receive payment.

Join Pay Pal. You give them your email address and a bank routing number. You send the buyer a n "invoice" or request for money. The buyer who must also be a Pal Pay member or join (its free) gives instructions to Pay Pal to withdraw funds from the checking account you give them. The entire process takes less than an hour. After the seller receives the funds, he ships the merchandise to the buyer. The shipper pays the Pay Pal fee, not sure what it is, but I think it is 2% of the selling price. I have used it several times and it fantastic. Good luck.

I have sold many camera related items on eBay with good results. I have learned that selling individual pieces generally brings a better price. Selling a lens with a high quality filter doesn't bring more than selling a lens without a filter. I keep the filters and have a drawer full of them for use on future purchases. I have never sold a body with a lens as a combo, but think you will do better selling the lens and body separately. An interested purchaser for the body may already have some lenses to use with it or may not have an interest in the lens you have to sell with it.

PayPal's fee for the seller is now 10%. it's getting to the point of being a rip off.
