This past Saturday, my wife and I spent an awesome day hiking the trails of the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, ON. This is our first Spring as birders so we were blown away by just how many different species of birds there are all around you when you actually pay attention! lol Hopefully, I've ID'd the attached photos correctly! Now, how does one go about getting some of them to sit still long enough to take a decent photo???
Canon T7i & Tamron 18-400mm
Great Egret
Yello-rumped Warbler
Osprey with a snack!
Northern Cardinals
White-breasted Nuthatch
Gray Catbird
Hand feeding a Downy Woodpecker!
Great Blue Heron
Very nice...next time check "store original" so they can be viewed full size.
I like that you were able to get the male and female cardinals in the same frame. Very nice, all of them.
Wonderful variety, seco66.
All are nice. Maybe lil faster shutter on Osprey, eye lil blurry

Thanks so much for the kind words!! A split second later, the female appeared to feed the male the seed she had!

Thanks very much, dirtpusher!! The excitement of seeing my first Osprey caused me to just start shooting without checking the settings! lol
I like the shot with the bird in your hand....i've never seen that before.
Wow! Great shots all! Thanks & congratulations!
