Ok thanks, just curious, what did you think of that printer? I like the prints, but I don’t think I have ever seen a slower printer.

It was a great printer. Makes beautiful prints. It is slow but most of them are in high quality mode. Even my new one us slow. It just takes time to lay down the ink. The print heads are only so big so it needs lots of passes. The 9500 is a bit old now. I have had it for maybe Six or seven years. It is slow for normal printing too except in draft mode. It is designed to do photos. Not a good office printer. Canon no longer repairs it. Good discussions on whether canon or epson is better. I got 10% off my new one at canon since I was a previous owner and a $200 rebate. Still waiting on that to arrive.

I’m sure you know about www.redriverpaper.com. They have great papers and ICC profiles for all of them.

If you want to get educated on printing go to YouTube and search for Jose Rodriguez. He has dozens and dozens of videos on printing. Lots of good advice. He seems to own just about every photo printer there is. Plus he has a group on Facebook where photo printing people can chat and get questions answered.
