have you ever seen a caterpillar jump?

i walked up to one on my fence and it jumped off,a couple days later another one did the same thing.they didnt fall off they jumped,must have come off the fence a 1/4 inch.

I had a Geometrid larva jump off off it twig. Never did find the darn thing.

Perhaps that caterpillar is learning to be a jumper mimic

hard going back to big? I remember deciding to get another complete rig as I was swapping things out so often, then hand issues retired me............oh well
