Of course there is Lincoln Road on Miami Beach. The design center area of Miami. Venetian Pool Coral Gables, art deco hotels miami beach,.

I think the problem is new becomes old and the thought goes into ones head Oh, I have seen all this before. But, Atlantic Ave in Delray at night is a blast to shoot.

While your information is accurate....Largo is WAY more drive from West Palm Beach than they are wanting. I'm guessing that some people get Largo confused with Key Largo.

True, BUT, living in Clearwater, I travel the entire state and up to Savannah, Charleston, Atlanta, and New Orleans for good nature shots. I've been all over the US and this area has the best combination of anywhere.. I've shot Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon, the Sierras, Oregon, the Rockies, all over the North East and grew up in Oklahoma and traveled Texas, Kansas, Arkansas and Missouri regularly. All were great places but the South Carolina, Georgia, Southern LA, and Florida have the best for the least amount of driving.... It's just an opinion and of course, it depends on what you shoot...

Loxahatchee and Wakodahatchee Wetlands are fantastic places for birds that are close to you if that interests the club.

From West Palm, go 18 miles West on Southern Blvd to 20-mile bend. Get off highway onto any of the side roads. This is the northern edge of the Everglades and also where the sugar cane fields begin. You have an enormous wealth of wildlife in and around the economic infrastructure of the local agriculture. If you see one of the cane fields being burned, park near it along the road to see the sky fill with birds of prey seeking the critters fleeing the fire. Something to ponder next time you reach for the sugar bowl.

Lots of photo opportunities if you take the time to look carefully. On the return, just a mile from the 20-mile bend is a small bridge across the canal to a parking lot. Turn onto MacArthur Dairy Rd and I think it's a small state park? But it gives you access to the edge of the Everglades with space to park and walk.

All within 20min of WPB.

Hey, Larry,
I thought the milky way didn't come up in earnest until August or is that just in California?

Wish I could help but live on the Gulf coast side and actually only have a 12 mile radius from my house to find wildlife. Isn`t there a few pockets of Cubans. out your way...Some wildlife pockets with ponds.... museum's or zoos...If you are coming out this way I could give you a list...have fun and I am sorry I couldn't be more helpful
