No, just about 15 minutes. It was a challenge and I wanted to see what I could do.

Way too much I'm sure....but it is good practice in getting to know your tools. As Captain C says, it is pretty much hopeless, but if important, worth the effort. Thought i would try too.

Not happy with it in general, especially the hair. If it was very important to me I would work on it more, but this is just an experiment in patience :)

Thanks Wendy, I like your effort!
I would appreciate the downloadable version so I can work on it some more.

Wendy,

Something I don't understand about this issue, and hopefully you or someone can educate me:

When I view the original photo on my camera the histogram indicates it's overexposed, but it doesn't look at all overexposed. It looks really good.

If it has any bearing on the issue, the photo was taken with a Fuji bridge camera.

P.S. By August 2nd I should receive my new Nikon d3100.
:-P :-P

Hmmm...I don't know why. Possibly the histogram's indication of overexposure is based on the white background and its relationship to the subjects. The photo does not seem to be overexposed, even the light background.

I don't know anything about the Fuji or even the Nikon because I shoot Canon.
