Reno.....Thank you soo much for posting the old pics....My grandma road a Harley way back when... She was in a "ladies" motorcycle gang.... I used to have pics of her, but when I left my other life I left them... He was supposed to give them to me... Been 19"years and I am still waiting...

Thank you Sher... I can't believe I've typed several comments in the last 15 min. or so and I've had nothing but trouble!!!... not the site... my typing.. I had my nails done as regularly but had them shortened way more than usual - (I'm heading out to help my Dad move stuff) and I cannot believe how much it has affected my typing!!! I've had to retype or fix every single line.... ach!!

Suggestions? Maybe some things like - using a flash effectively (I've watched video after video and practice and still hate it and don't get it). Things that "sizzle" or convey "heat", different shapes (wheels/round - squares/rectangles),
contrasts in colors/textures, images that convey "wind" or other elements. Different kinds of work, weather, insects (yuch, butÂ…), Back to School, windows, doors, clouds, practice using other settings like Tv or Sv and why. Flowers and birds of August, "What did you find along the roadside?" I've seen some images of water and oil that were really neat, but have no idea how they were done. Have also noticed some have posted great images using mirrors and I'd like to know how. I like "still life", but how do others "set up" for it and what are things to watch out for (wrinkled back drop for one). Don't know if any of these would work out.

Great list Pat O...Amazing how many of the things I was going to suggest are on your list... "great minds think alike" I think....

Hi y'all .... First of all thank you everyone for the kind words. I love y'all. Rufe and Nan both called me .. and as a result ... I will be back tomorrow to continue the challenge. I had to log in to see where we were and what day we were on I totally lost track.
Just briefly .. the reason I have been absent for a week is my best friend who lived in the netherlands .. had knee surgery a month ago .. right about the same time as Pat. Part of his physical therapy was to ride his bike a couple miles a day. Well he was struck by a drunk driver and killed instantly. He was 49 yrs old. His loss hit me hard..especially since I couldn't just hop on a plane and go there. I loved him dearly.
So anyhow I will be back tomorrow and y'all are just gonna be stuck with me LOL. I haven't looked at the photos .. but I promise I will. See you soon .... :)

LOL... what did he think you were going to do? YOu should have gone to him with some cash in hand or test drove a car and brought it home and told him you just bought the car with the sale of a motorcycle you found on the property.

Now that's funny!

A new day dawns and its all about our two wheel rides....NOT BICYCLES, you sillies, MOTORCYCLES. I know we have some riders in the gang. I prefer to sit on the back but I know some of you like to turn the throttle. So lets see what you got.

Im going to go begging today....Ill let you know what she says

Meanwhile, our Sherrie was never strict about what you posted and Im all over interpretation. So feel free to show us your bike, a favorite ride site, or give a lesson.

Motorcycles! Now thats a subject I can relate to. Our whole family are bike lovers....my kids were riders at 12 on their buels...my husband has always had a ride...throughout our 50 yrs of marriage...I used to ride but since I have two total knee replacements I have become a passenger instead....but I still love to go!

Wow your daughter in law looks familiar. Does she live in Alaska or is she in CA by chance?
