Just a few from this morning.
I got a late start so I am afraid I did not get as many opportunities as I had hoped for. Some of these are not much more than thumb nails because of cropping.
This is the first time that I have ever gone out birding and shot fully manual, I think that it may take me a little time to get used to making adjustments for the different types of birds I often shoot in the same outing, but I really like the idea of finding an triangle setting that works for the bird and then just leaving the camera set there.
Nice set, detail on the egret is pretty amazing.
A very nice set and a fantastic, when double-clicked, image of the Egret!

I really like #3 eagle! Where were you in Florida when you got this? I'll be down in a couple of weeks. :-)

I live in Easton now, originally from NJ. My mom lives in Melbourne so I'm going down for a visit
You'll find all kinds of birding opportunities in Melbourne. Just west of Melbourne you have tremendous fresh water marshes. Then of course you have the coast and inter-coastal.
Nice to see you post again blurryeyed.

Thanks Stevieboy, I have been busy... but I will have my little, small but sturdy, boat back for next birding season, I hope to do a lot more photography.
Really enjoy the detail in the first capture Geff. Eagles have a ton of detail in the head if not blown out......
