#1 - when photographing flowers, try to get the entire flower in the frame - see how you cut off the very bottom of the one you have posted? Other than that, nice color, very sharp, like the interplay of the shadows on the thin stems.
Thank you very much Jim I would try again using your info.
You might want to try and watch your histogram for overexposure.
Thank you appreciate the observation

I cut flowers off all the time - usually I do it on purpose simply because that is the only way I can get close enough to get the detail I want with my P&S. I like all 3 pictures. Love seeing the bubbles in the water.
Thank you, I did not cut the flower on purposed but trying new lenses and learning as I go. Glad you still with us. I open to suggestions specially when it comes to filters and big lenses. Using a canon rebel
Thank again for your comments

I can offer no help in that area. I just have a small canon sx30IS and don't even know how to use it yet - LOL

Good Afternoon, I have to say I love all three pictures. I'm not one to go by the Rule Of Three, so I'm always cutting things, and putting the subject to one side or the other. I also LOVE the water drops. I think that one may be my favorite. It's very sharp and the drops stand out very well. Great job on all three.
