My first two pictures.
After seeing some of the pictures here, which are absolutely stunning, I'm hesitant to post these first two of mine. I've just upgraded from an iphone to a Sony a7iii, 24-105mm G. and starting my new hobby at age 72. The learning curve looks really steep from where I am now! These were simple first shots, auto mode, no editing, JPEG xt fine setting, some cropping. This forum has been really helpful in choosing my camera/lens. I appreciate any helpful inputs to start me up that learning curve to take decent pictures.
Congrats on the new camera! You have an adorable "model" to use and a good start. Keep shooting and sharing.

Mike, you can’t go wrong with such a cute subject! However, these shots are also well done. The close up is precious beyond words!
Welcome to the Hog Mike. You have given yourself the tools, and you have a cute and willing subject. All you need to do now to climb the learning curve is Click Click. Pixels are cheap, so get out there. This is a fantastic place to learn.

Great first shots Mike! Keep shooting and posting.
With such a great little model, I expect to see more photos from you. Nicely done.
The closeup is excellent.
You did nothing to be ashamed of...keep the photos coming.
