Remember when; We knew nothing about cameras?
We had to ask for advice
When we didn't know what the words, Aperture, ambient, exposure, the numbers on lenses, meant?
Just a kind reminder to those here that forgot you were a newbie at one time. How would you feel (back then) if you were called stupid?????
And I need to remember that I can learn new things too, even though, I have been a commercial photographer for a long time....

Any of us that can't acknowledge that we learn new things daily, regardless of experience, are just being arrogant or maybe just ignorant of what the learning process involves....

HI MRJ... The main reasons I posted this was to send a message to those that respond to newbies with arrogance and disrespect. I could be wrong, in that there may be some here that were born knowing everything about photography & cameras from birth... Funny that these same persons never post any of their genius talented perfect photos..... I suspect that if anyone would disagree with these people, about anything, they would be met with the same crude disrespect. Could you imagine mentioning politics to them?????? OMG...
Then there are those here that are not photographers but academics on all subjects that feel so superior elites that they have book knowledge not the experience of a hard working photographers with years of knowledge....
The folks who should take note of this topic are unlikely to do so. The anonymity of the internet is cherished and exploited by lifelong bullies, wannabe bullies, and others who feel compelled to constantly demonstrate their mental superiority over us all. But thank you anyway, Lee!

Yea, people have a tendency to "hide behind the screen". I wonder how many of them would actually talk to their friends the same way???
My philosophy has been that people are nice, friendly, cordial, intelligent, etc. until they prove me wrong.
Some people have been able to do that in as little as three seconds.

LOL, I think I met some of those same people.
I remember the first nasty comment in one of my Photo Gallery topics years ago. It was so gratuitously rude, I was shocked
Then it occurred to me I should see what else this person has written on UHH, so I checked his history. Ahhh, OK, no need to lose sleep over this one!

One guy was SO nasty regarding almost everything, he was the only person I had blocked because he was so caustic.
He's no longer a member (at least under his original name).
I sometimes look at some of a grinch's posting history also. It usually supports my perception.
I do feel sad for those people though.

I would help anyone with any question except "Which camera should I buy?" question.

But, that seems to be one of, if not the most popular questions!
Just saying...😈😈😈
