My very first Milky Way photos

Went to Joshua Tree last night to shoot the MW. Wanted photo at Keys Point overlooking Palm Springs bit it was so windy I had trouble just standing.
Got these with my 6D and Rokinon 14mm 2.8 and my 77D and Rokinon 16mm 2.0

I think you did very well for your 1st Milky Way images.
I see your camp chair and backpacks in the 2nd image.
It's on my bucket list to do this too.
I want to get my images from the top of Shenandoah Mtn.

Thanks. I took one pick of me in the chair and my feet on the pack, but it didn’t turn out well. Then I forgot to pull them away. I was tired. It was almost 3:30 AM, and 35 degrees when I started at 1:30.

Well done. I have found shooting the MW is quite difficult... you have a great start if this is your first attempt. Thanks for sharing them.
