Why not try unusual Creative and different compositions for portraits? Why does a portrait have to include a frontal face image? Why not think outside of the box?
Even if I try and fail, I have gained knowledge with experimental creative possibilities.
Please download this one for best clarity.
You've really opened my eyes to a new way of appreciating beautiful women, it was once 'boobs', now it's nostrils. Well done!

Inside the box is small, outside is a whole universe.

garygrafic, did you know that nostrils are the new boobs????!!?!?!?! lol Just having a little fun....!
Thanks garygrafic for the "well done" comment. It's nice to know other photographers like myself are ok with trying something different and out of the ordinary.

dpullum, that is profound! May I quote you on that?!?!?

That is interesting!
I do hope jaymatt that in this case "interesting" is a good thing! lol
I just reminded myself.....many, many moons ago (60 odd years) from the time I was an assistant to my retirement, I was the envy of all my non photographer friends, the absolutely stunning models that were in and out of the studio, never really turned me on. I half-joked the kind of facial attributes that really turned me on was certain kinds of crooked teeth, glasses a plus, and a certain degree of old acne! Lauren Hutton had right teeth (gap in front), Oh and hair like Louise Brooks. My friends were always scouting. It was a running gag. Nothing's changed. Seriously, nostrils, no.

Gary, as strange as it may seem, I think I can understand where your past has been and can relate to it. Just because a model is stunning looking doesn't mean much if their personality turns you off.
Interesting photo but I would not pay to have my daughter's picture taken this way. The veins showing in her neck and chest add another uncomfortable element.
Very good shot Brent, portrait, NO!!
Wish the hands were not cut off.

bertloomis, I wouldn't pay for it either. I was just looking at the photo more of an artist would rather than a portrait of someone you love in your family.

Bob, this is a study in alternative concepts. Anything goes! Including the hands!
