There is a park in College Station with a walking trail that features memorials to our veterans of all the armed conflicts that have been a part of our history.

Thanks Lorima! I know deep in my files I would run across many a fence shot. But since we're on the road......might as well use some fresh & up to date shots. Thanks for looking & the nice comment. We've run into some drippy & chilly weather & have made it as far as Virginia Beach in Virginia. Checked into a place on the beach for the night & have a fabulous suite on the top floor (11th) at an unbelievable price.....so raced back down to the front desk & booked a 2nd night to ride out the weather! Suggested to my wife that we leave the door open to the lanai so we could better hear the surf tonight...... ! Guess how that went over!! Bob
Thanks Lorima! I know deep in my files I would ru... (show quote)

That's too funny, Bob! My wife would have jumped at a chance like that (with me, sorry ) She much prefers a chilly room! Besides, it's so much better to snuggle!

C'mon by, it's fun.

This is a mini-project that I have started which I call ''The Evolution of April'', one shot per day for the entire month so as to show how April changes drastically...so far no good, she thinks that she's still in March

Roadrunner sounds like an interesting project. Thank you for hosting Free Sunday.

I have found fences to be very appealing to photograph for the depth & line they add to a photo as well as for their interest. Here are a few from this past winter in the Rockies. Download please for best view.
