A modern day Mona Lisa...
Beautiful, Da Vinci would have been proud...

Thanks, blue-ultra. I'm sure Da Vinci would have done a spectacular job of immortalizing her, had Madame P been found hanging about Italy at the time. But he didn't have much to work with, judging from the paintings I've seen of those Renaissance ladies. Mona's pleasant enough, sure, but let's face it--you could throw a rock pretty much anywhere today and hit a better looking woman. Which is probably why they mostly painted landscapes and long-dead religious figures... ; )

Thanks for your very kind comments and visit, they're very much appreciated!

Great shot and story Treepusher

Thanks, Greg. Glad you enjoyed this episode and accompanying image. I'm sure there's more to this story, and we'll hopefully learn a bit more about Madame P's motives here.

Thanks for your very kind words and visit, always much appreciated!

This has to be my absolute favorite portrait of Madame P! Just beautiful, Randy:)

Thanks, lensbaby. Think we've got a shot at getting her on the dollar bill? George is getting a little long in the tooth these days, and a change now and then on our currency isn't necessarily a bad thing, lol.

Glad you enjoyed this one, and thanks your very kind comments and visit. They're always very much appreciated!

Beautiful Eyes. Very nice shot.

Thanks, Dennis. The Russian song 'Dark Eyes' could have been written about this lady, lol. Very enigmatic, and one could easily fall in love gazing into them. Or lose your soul, lol.

Glad you enjoyed the image, and thanks for the kind words and visit, they're very much appreciated!

Lovely portrait, Randy. Colors, makeup all chosen to perfection. Always beautiful work, and it doesn't hurt to have very attractive models as well.

Thank you, Donna. She wears little or no makeup most of the time (and doesn't need it, lol) so I get free rein to slap on whatever I wish. Less is generally more, except when more is more. ; )

Not as heavily painted here as I often do, but she's always a pretty lady however they're done. Glad you enjoyed it.

Thanks as always for your kind words and visit, they're very much appreciated!

Thanks, Marion. I don't want to come right out and say the Martian's a tightwad, so let's just say he's very careful with a dollar.

Omi has certainly earned some consideration for her suffering at the Colonel's hands, but good luck to her getting an extra nickel from His Highness, lol.

And no surprise to find that Madame P is somehow involved in this caper. Not sure what she's up to, but I'm sure she has the Ministry's best interests at heart. Probably.

Thanks for stopping by and your positive comments, always very much appreciated!

I'm sorry. I'm not very good at reading the other replies. I was not aware that Omi was a girl. I can't even imagine the torment the girls been thru. It's one thing for a guy, but a girl? And Madame P is somehow involved in this caper?
Omi's a funny name for a girl.LOL

Thanks, Angela. She's a very pretty lady, and it's my good fortune she lets me shoot her now and then. She'd deny it, but I think she likes posing, lol.

Can't blame you for the confusion. Omi--in this case--is short for 'Naomi,' as we couldn't be bothered to use three syllables to call her, lol. The laser pointer is what she lives for, and she'll chase it till she drops. We try to limit her time with it as she's getting on a bit, and don't want her having a heart attack.

As for Madame P's involvement, she's clearly in it up to her neck. She appears to have the Martian bamboozled, and he may wait forever for that report from the frog/Colonel. I'm sure she has her reasons, and my faith in her will never waiver, but...

With great power comes great responsibility, or so says Madame P. And after saying so to the Colonel, who was about to meet with the Martian to reveal what he'd learned from Omi, she apologized, whispered a quick incantation, and *POOF* turned him into a frog.

She headed straightway to the Martian's office and told him that, during his interrogation, the Colonel discovered Omi had been working as a double agent, had only passed along to the Nanookians disinformation regarding the upcoming invasion of Rhode Island. His feeling was that Omi should be immediately pardoned, returned to duty, and, in fact, given a commendation and a raise in salary for her efforts on the Ministry's behalf.

The Martian appeared dubious, and asked why the Colonel hadn't come himself to explain the situation.

She said that Omi, in exchange for her own information, had learned of Nanookian plans for an impending attack on the Northern Division's massive Catnip Works factory complex. The Colonel, as commander of Seal Team 9-Lives, felt he would be urgently needed back home, sent his apologies for the hasty exit and would be sending a full report when time permitted.

The Martian asked if Omi had revealed who had set up the operation, who her controller in the Ministry was. Madame P shrugged, said the Colonel, if he knew, hadn't told her, but it would undoubtedly be in his report.

The Martian looked thoughtful for a moment, then nodded, said Omi could be returned to duty, and that he'd write up a commendation for her. But no raise.

Madame P left his office, an odd smile on her face.

Excellent portrait of a beautiful woman Randy. That smile will give way to mayhem I fear.
