The top one might be a juvenile Herring gull, and as Jim said, no.2 is a Cormorant..or a shag!

Or a DCC as we refer to them in my family (Double Crested Cormorant). Looks like it may have its breeding eyebrows on!

It is definitely not a dove. It is huge and just look at the beak. It is a type of gull. That I do know. Unless, of course there are giant doves that look like gulls.
