Wonderful start, Richard, and thank you for hosting the challenge. I'm sure we are going to view some incredible images.
The first one is one I did of my wife Sharon. Did this a couple of years ago and if I remember correctly I posted it when I first got on the UHH. The second one is not totally a silhouette but close. I did it as a Book Cover

Not a 100% sihoulette, but common practice for shooting "in camera" double exposures in the day. (Sorry for the scratches; this was a 12"x14" I had to scan...have to do some PP on it.)
Top of bridge in Australia. Hit "download" and check out the pedestrians on top walking across the bridge. (Hmmmm, wonder if this would fit the upcoming "Pathways" challenge.)
