Nice shot. Intrepid photog to be out in the rain, but definitely worth the effort.
Thank you! I mostly stayed under the awnings. Lol.

Love the night shot Tom, especially when the streets are wet. Makes for great reflections.
Thanks! I guess that why they do it in the movies.

Very nice Tom and more appealing than a daytime shot. I suspect this is Market St. near Powell.
Thank you, Vic! Being a tourist, I knew that by picking out a Landmark (in this case, the Gap store), i would find the BART station. Lol.

very nice capture of a rainy night in SF. Curious what this would look like in b/w?
No way! I am red/green colorblind and I saw lots of vivid colors and what I interpret as yellow. Lol.

Very, very nice! I love San Francisco. Wonderful city. I haven't been there for several years now, except at airport. Hopefully its flavor and personality haven't changed too much.
It was rather weird for me. People were around smoking pot, but light up a cigarette, and you get all sorts of nasty looks. All around was very beautiful scenery and history, but very crowded.

Wonderful image Tom. I love the rain and the warm reflected light coming off the bricks. Bev
Thank you, Bev! I was pleasantly surprised how my night shots turned out. This is one time when I wished I had a tripod so that I could take a sharper image, but I think all in all, the effect was very nice.

I was thinking the same thing about the French painter-- edouard leon cortes

Your photo was lovely
Yeah, after I looked at it for awhile, I tried to think of which painter this reminded me of.

I like how the colors are reflected on the wet bricks.
That is pretty cool, isn't it?

And we thought they were kidding when they said 'the streets in California are paved in gold'.
Kind of looks that way.
