Is it possible to use the EXPODISC with a flash(canon 430EX).
If so, please explain the procedure. I thank you.

Yes. But I believe in a manual mode only (no ETTL) and probably most effective with off camera axis flash.
I've used ExpoDisk-like diffusers on multiple strobe arrangements that also depended on other light sources.
Check your ExpoDisk manual to see if it addresses this.
If not, go out and test it using the ExpoDisk the same way you use it normally.
i had an expodisk for awhile and it worked ok.
the idea of the exposikd is to put it over your lens and shoot towards the light to get a perfect white balance shot..then set your custom white balance to that shot.
to use it with a 430 flash...the flash would have to be set up off camera so you can aim your camera at it and shoot.
all this is more work than it is worth. it didn't work out for me.
i know a few guys that swear by it....but then they swear by everything they buy because they bought it.
i found that the lid of the garyfong lightsphere works great if i want a custom white balance if i am shooting jpg.
since i mostly shoot raw....i use a small gray card in my shot and set white balance correctly in lightroom. that works for me. i can click on one photo with the white balance tool and then sync the rest of the entire shoot at one click.

Yes. Set camera to manual. Get correct exposure set for ambient light, doesn't matter what aperture or shutter as long as meter shows good exposure. Turn on flash and set white balance to whatever setting is required to get manual WB (PRE on Nikon, Hold WB button until PRE is blinking) put expo disc over lens and press shutter. You should see "GOOD" in display if it worked.
