Here's a unique fence. THE BERLIN WALL (photos from 1975)

This fence was built to keep people in or out depending on which side of the wall you were on.

Russia claimed that they were protecting their people form outside influence from the West.

Photos 1 & 4 consisted of two concrete walls between which was a “death strip” up to 160 yards wide that contained hundreds of watchtowers, miles of anti-vehicle trenches, guard dog runs, floodlights and trip-wire machine guns.

Over 100 people were killed trying to escape

Over 5,000 people actually escaped by going over or under the wall

Hi everyone. Thank you for joining me in my challenge.

I thought we could do a fences challenge, wood, plastic, wire, steel, rock or any other fences.

Since we are still on the road traveling a bit.....Fences seem to be popping into view! So might as well share a few. Bob

(1) Here's a few taken today in Alexandria, Virginia. In this one.....I'm peeking into somebodys alley!

Beach fences Part 2. The colorful rope tied to the fence would be pieces of rope that washed ashore and folks pick it up and tie it to the posts. Mostl likely the ropes were tied to lobster trap buoys at one time.

Pg. 27 Love the #1, #3, and the last images Pat.

p30 - I really like this image, Lorima...a lot! But with all the road debris, I think they should lower the speed limit.
