Of course firemen are not "fearless" like you put it - no man is. But sxrich meant it in the most sincere of ways. I had an uncle who was a fireman - he hated the accolades as well but in our eyes he was fearless and was a great role model for our kids vs certain athletes and movie stars. As we used to tell him...you are loved and appreciated - this is a good thing ;)
