Old bridges and trains...the bridge was built in 1906..(Titanic was still on paper)
Boy some things never give up. I took these photos of this bridge with and without a train passing by. All are just Jpegs with no touch ups.
I like #1. The others just don't do it for me.
However, I would like to see a shot through the bridge with the tracks disappearing off in the distance.
Please don't take offense, but that bridge would be a great subject from any of 25 angles and positions. Being careful to avoid trains, lay on the track and do a wide angle shot of the top trusses. Get some macro or close-ups of the rust and rivets. Get any plaques. If you can get underneath the bridge, shoot the bottom. Are there any scenes worthy of being shot from the bridge.
A hint I try to follow is to always use a Circular Polarizer whenever I'm shooting large patches of blue sky.
Greetings Joe..I'm still trying to get permission to be on RR property...I would love to get closer...but there is also swamp on all sides..as soon as I know it's safe and legal to be on the bridge...I'll get-er-done. (still learning about filters)...thank you for your help....respectfully trainspotter.

Regardless of what others say I like all your photos including the ones with trains as subjects. Good job!
Really I like the bridge by itself. In my opinion #2, the train distracts from the beautiful angles of the bridge making the photo too busy and takes the eye away from the bridge. #3 is an excellent photo of the train. Mahalo for sharing.

Welcome to the forum!
I have an interest in steam trains.

Considering the obstacles, these are a nice series of photos. #1 would be interesting to see if converted to b/w format as it is an old steel structure. Thanks for sharing.

Nice shots! I like the first 3, they're almost a series. #4 is something I see at almost any crossing.
