Hi All

As I've said in a previous post I'm new to photography & I use a Nikon S9900 compact camera.

Today I used my husbands Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ72 camera for the first time & am amazed at the quality of the photographs. I still can't believe I actually took these photos

Very nice!! Looks like your husband lost a camera. OR, better yet, he is getting a NEWER camera👍

On no! Another one hooked....I guess your husband will never see his camera again. Great shots and now the fun begins.

Would you believe I've been looking at new cameras for me already after I borrowed his. The thing is what do I buy Nikon, Panasonic or another make?

Thank you.

I think I might see if I can buy a new one for myself as I prefer it with GPS on it. I'm still amazed at the difference

very nice photos, 1st photo of the dog I swore you had stole a photo of one of my two, the black collar and lack of white on chest proved me wrong

The photo of the dog belongs to someone I know & it was the first photo I took with the camera.

Thank you PixelStan77

Definitely! I'm even thinking about buying a camera similar to my husbands.

Now thats the 2nd person to say that to me today & the other person has a canon camera. I think I'd buy a bridge camera if it has everything I want on it. GPS & wifi is a must.

My 2 cents, stay away from a bridge & go with a DSLR. Just my thoughts.
