While hunting in the Big Bar area in 1978 I found an old sign post that had been broken off by a snow plow and knocked into the bushes. These were mounted at 90 degrees on the post.
They have been hanging in my den for almost 40 years. From the weathering you can see they were old when I found them.
The second photo shows more of the gouge where the plough hit it on the left end.

Thank you all for your thoughts. I've a D7100 with a NIKOR 28-300 mm full frame lens. f/10 - ISO 800 - 1/8000 sec. I really like this one too.
