It looks like the last shot is the sharpest.

Are you shooting through glass? I shot a friend’s game today and there were no clear alleys for shooting. Sometimes the glass was an issue, but sometimes not. I’m not sure how to deal in LR with the ones where the shots are good except for the effect of the glass. Any ideas?

By the way, I have been loving your hockey shots. Forgive me for not saying so earlier.

Glass is a constant annoyance. Shooting straight through, if you have to shoot through glass, is the best. DOing it at angles cuts contrast and causes distortion. I rarely get a good shot at angles through the glass.
For most of my shots, I have a hole in the glass that I shoot through. I also have some where I am able to shoot from above the glass.

Thanks. In this arena, they have mesh from the top of the glass to the ceiling, so getting up high did not help.

In that case, I would get to the arena early, and ask the workers there if it would be okay for me to use their glass cleaner (only use what they use) and clean the glass on the inside and the outside so that you have a couple of good places to shoot through.

That's a good thought. Thank you!
