I was coming down from Sonora yesterday late in the afternoon, taking pictures on the way. I was just outside of Oakdale Ca. and was taking some shots of the early sunset above the foot hills. When I got home I noticed a dot on one of the shots and enlarged it thinking it was from a dirty lens. Take a look and see what you think.
It looks weird to me!
Original shot from my card

Load if so we can download it. That way we can get a closer look, that is unless your pulling our leg.

Here's the original right off my card. No fooling around with this one.

...I think maybe it's just wishful thinking and you need to clean your camera. "The best evidence of intelligent life out there is that none of them have tried to contact us."

The picture prior had no evidence of it, and the one after-the same. So that rules out the camera. I guess it could be Venus or something. I hear it gets low enough to be in front of the clouds this time of year. HAHAHAHA!
on my screen i had 5 or 6 spots
i thought they were coming.
oh sorry dirty screen

Well, before you clean your camera, go make another photo of the sky. If the spot is in that part of the sky then you either have a dirty lens or we are truly being invaded.......

I would want the same also. I downloaded the original right from the camera card. It's an untouched JPG so it's not going to be of that great quality. Hope you can do something with it.
M Rosenke

I believe you misunderstood me. When you check "(store original), when uploading a picture, the original picture is stored on the site server and those who wish to download the original can do so.

Definitely NOT a dirty lens or sensor. I see no ballpark close by, so the only logical conclusion is UFO. Probably an alien life form just out taking pictures of interesting looking planets.
it looks like a metallic ball with the sun shining on it. Pretty darn interesting. Sent it to a UFO site and see what they think.
Swamp gas reflecting off Venus, or a weather balloon. At least that's what Project Blue Book would say.
