I was up in the San Jose foothill's, at a farm/garden. I saw these cute little shetland ponies eating. I'm tiny only 5' tall, the fence was too tall for me to shoot over, I could not shoot through the wires because the fence wa electronicaly charged, and if my camera had touched it, I would have gotten a "shocking" experience. I held my camera high over my head and prayed that the focus would hold, then I shot.

Nice shot. To make this even more interesting try getting down to just below eye level with the ponies, and wait for them to both take a look at you between bites.
This "down at their eye level" and seeing their eyes would make it an ever more interesting shot.
Keep at it. I've seen several of your posts today.

Being 5 ft tall myself, I feel your pain. Hard to shoot thru electric fencing so you CAN'T get down to their level. Men! LOL. I like the shot and think you did a good job on the capture despite the obstacles.

Guilty. I overlooked the electric fence part. And it looks like too fine a mesh to try to aim thru. Sorry.

Thanks, that electric fence did a good job of scaring me off. If they were not behind the fence I could have done that. They are so tiny and cute.

Very well done. I have trouble being able to hold a camera above my head and still get the shot, but it can be done.

I was really surprised when I saw that I had actually done it.
