Thanks as always jaymatt. If you are referring to #10, that is a guy not a girl! He is in the process of "walking to the nose" and that is why the crossed feet. I liked the tongue sticking out. It's fun to get the facial expressions of surfers in different situations.

Rolk, you are so very right. As you know the sunrises and sunsets change so very rapidly. You have to be ready and shoot often to capture what is going on.

Right now I am recovering from shoulder replacement surgery and think it's best to not get int the water till I am healed. For now I will stay on the pier or beach shooting these amazing athletes.
Good luck with the shoulder recovery. You are pretty darned good from the pier but perhaps, but maybe someday it might be fun to try it from the water!
