Outside in the storm...outside the frame!
Very cool! What effect did you use to get the specific radial blur in the frame? Please message me so I don't have to look all over the place for your response! :-) Thanks!

I had 4 horses many, many years ago, and a loud boom of thunder would have scattered them!
I know I was surprised. But we get so many storms here I think they are used to them.
Pg.9 All of these horses are beautiful Lori. The first with the storm is very dramatic, and the last backlit by the Sun is excellent.

I think I like #5 the best--tells the obvious story to be on the lookout. At least that's what I see.

Every year since we build our house in 1989, I spend countless hours putting up outside Christmas decorations, but, back in '99, I was in a very rare "blue funk," and told my wife I just wasn't going to do it that year. Well, my wife told our camping buddies, and one night, they all showed up at our house and proceeded to decorate 22 hemlocks, one huge weeping cherry tree, our front porch and 8-10 other bushes. (Total light count? About 12,000.)
(I think this qualifies since everyone was busy working, not paying attention while I took pictures.)
I've included several pictures of the end results of their love.
(Side note, after viewing these, I have to confess, they brought back wonderful memories of wonderful friends, and, yes, a couple of tears to my eyes.)

Lovely photos so far.
I took this one last year I think it was. Don't what the little burrowing owl was looking at.
Adorable, Lori! Great catch!
Trixie, then Casey, heading out of the frame.
