In Texas there is no proof of citizenship required to register to vote, NONE. No ID is required, NONE . Why is this allowed? Because the democrats need the votes.

What are you blathering about now? You do have a high gullibility factor, so try to resist your tendency to just gullibly believe everything you hear. Texas does not allow non-citizens to register to vote. In Texas, just as in the rest of the states, you have to prove you are a citizen by providing your social security number, and the state's registrar of voters has to verify you are a citizen before they will add you to the voter rolls.

You were duped again. Sorry, bob.

Texas registers voters on an honor system.

My leftist friends have shown their ignorance ... again.

I am really tired of your assumptions that everything I say is wrong. Have you seen the texas registration form . I have Take a look at it. No proof is required to register to vote. You check a box that asks if you are a citizen. Thats it. No ID check a box. No social security check a box. No proof required. The form [points out that it is a felony to file false claims. That's it. Check it out. PDF- Texas Registration to vote form

You seem to have this bizarre perception that all a person has to do is fill out the form and that's the end of the story, and they are automatically added to the rolls. NOT ONE SINGLE STATE DOES IT THIS WAY. Every single form is examined and the person's eligibility to vote is verified by a human being paid by the state to verify eligibility and maintain voter registration databases.

You obviously have never heard of the state Registrar of Voters Office. Someone doesn't just automatically get put on the voter registration rolls by filling out the voter registration form and omitting their social security number. The Voter Registrar does not add someone to the rolls until they verify that the person is a citizen, and that they are eligible to vote (they are not a felon, not double registered in other places, etc.). If you don't provide your social security number, then the Voter Registrar will reject the application.

Oh, I think I understand the problem here. Democratic voter registrations are surging in Texas, early voting returns for the state primaries show that Democrats are getting about double the votes compared to last midterm elections in 2014, and Republicans are freaking out that the state might be finally turning blue. Along with the surge in Democratic votes, is a surge in paranoid conspiracy theories by the far right to explain away the blue shift as "millions of illegal voters".

If Democrats are able to flip several seats blue this year in Texas, you will be hearing endless Alex Jones style conspiracy nonsense about how "Democrats bussed millions of illegal immigrants to Texas to illegally vote", mark my words!

Get this story (conspiracy theory) from Alex Jones, or worse?

Filling out the form does not make you a registered voter..its makes you a person who has filled out a form. Until the state's process has run its course, you are not eligible to vote.

I like your idea that the State of Texas has weak voting requirements "because the Democrats need the votes." Greg Abbott and Dan Patrick might take umbrage at your observation that their administration is attempting to help the Democrats.

Which Democrats do you think are running the State's voter registrar office?

Democrats don't have any power at the state level in Texas.

Think man, think!

It's very possible its that way in Texas. It's probably that way in many states.
In CA all you need is a Drivers Lic., last four digits of a social and a Birth Date....., they can of course all be fake!!!
In ANY state in any state you can vote with not even being registered and having zero ID. It's called a Provisional Ballot(PB).
But registering to vote is NOT a VOTE.
And a PB is not a vote, even if you voted.
It's what happens AFTER you register or AFTER you vote that's what make it valid or gets your vote thrown out. PB are hand processed and go through many extra steps to prove validity. If they can not be validated satisfactorily, your vote gets thrown out. If you register and you're name can't be verified by past voting records or addresses or Birth Dates etc, etc, your vote will get thrown out.
Cheating on voting is MUCH harder than Tramp makes it out to be, just ask anybody that works for a Registrar of Voters in any county.
That's why elections aren't certified for 60 days, they are using that time to validate every individual that voted!!!
If you watch the official count results you see that at the very end, just before certification, a candidates LOSES votes, gets them taken away. That's the votes that could not be verified as legal and are thrown out!

Yea, right. Now that you've lost the argument, you lack the maturity to admit you were wrong, so instead you fling insults. Just like a typical right wing man-child.

Grow up.

The Republicans seem to forget that they did not even win the popular vote for president in 2016. Texas has been a GOP stronghold, but Texans tend to recognize bullshit when they see it, and so a lot of the hypocrites will be run out of office.

Arguing with hard data only makes you look foolish, which you have convinced everyone of long ago.

What you don’t realize is that neither Hillary or Bill received a majority while running for POTUS.

On the application, you must provide: Your TX driver's license number. A personal identification number from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). OR Your Social Security number.
https://www.dmv.org/tx-texas/voter-registration.php

Start here and see if proof of citizenship is required fro the personal ID and Drivers license...

Opining is a mental disease ..... cure by research.
