Loupedeck Photo Editing Console

Has anyone had any experience with the Loupedeck Photo Editing Console? I received a review on it from an online reviewing page and am wondering if this would help an amateur/novice using Adobe LR? At the moment, I am simply eyeballing changes with PhotoScape (not Pro), Adobe PS, and Luminar 2018. I have LR on my machine but am not sure what its real purpose is. I am afraid to use it because I don't want to end up with multiple copies of the same photo all over the place when I am basically scanning and adjusting photos from as far back as 1974. I use bits and pieces of the three programs I listed. I am 71, not computer illiterate but pressed for time. I save everything as JPEG. Thank You!

looks interesting but it is only good with light-room you are tied to it would be better if it can be used with Photoshop, and other programs such as affinity, corel, dxo etc.

These types of controllers are intended to speed up the workflow of users who do a lot of post processing.
I suspect most of us amateurs wold not really benefit much from it.
If you would like to try a less expensive controller for LR look at Midi controllers and midi2lightroom software (free).
There are Midi controllers available for between $50 and $100.

The Loupedeck is great for streamlining your Lightroom workflow, with lots of options and customizable buttons and dials. If you are not sure what Lightroom's purpose is, the Loupedeck is not for you.

Thank you for the input. Amateur fits me so from what I have read, this toy isn't for me.
