New Zealand is an absolute gold mine for old cars and hot rods. The "Americarna" organisers stated ~800 cars for this event. Not sure of the actual number but the turn out was impressive

Really? That is amazing. Good for you guys. I belong to a car club here in Oregon near the Pacific coast. Our club sponsored yearly cruise-in/fund raiser (we raise money to buy eye glasses for needy children) draws a average of 600 cars. Good-Guys events draw over 1,500. At least the ones that I have been to. Hot August Nights in Reno, Nevada last year had over 5,000 cars registered. I love cars but.................
