Can you believe how the new rules, in effect now, are timed. I checked finished games today, all within 3 hours with 40-45 players involved.
WOW! It is about time all the wasted time has been halted!
The only wasted time in baseball is for commercials. If you feel there is other "wasted" time in the game, you have no clue about real baseball.
Also, you probably have no issue with NFL games lasting 3+ hours with the ball being in play for 7-11 minutes.

Baseball is like a game of chess, both have no time limits as it should be. For me extra innings is free baseball, what's not to like.

You are absolutely correct regarding football games.
However if a batter stepping out of the box and readjusting his gloves after every single pitch, a catcher going out to talk to a pitcher three or four times during every other batter and the umpires taking 10 minutes to review a play at second base dont bother you then I humbly suggest you have no clue about what "wasted time" means.
Baseball is life! Wasted time is involved and enjoyed.
Actually, there are time limits in competitive chess....
Paraphrasing the columnist George Will: If you are in a hurry, what are you doing at a baseball game?
Shouldn't a "No Hitter" really be called a "No Baser?" I've seen fellows smash a ball that is headed over the fence and caught by the fielder jumping high in the air catching the ball with the tip of his glove for an "Out".
Lousy pitch, tremendous hit and a fabulous sometimes magical catch over the wall. To me, a "no hitter" would be no one hitting any ball. Many players stand in the field and never get a ball to come near them the entire game.
Now..Hockey, that's a real man's sport except for all the useless skating between fights..!
